What’s the daily expense limit on Free?
You can add up to 5 expenses per day on Free — tracked in your local time zone, resets at midnight. Recurring posts (like rent) count toward the cap on the day they hit. Most people never reach it. Pro ($2.99/mo) removes the limit, the ads, and the cap on receipt scanning.
What makes Tab different?
Receipt scanning is included, not a paid add-on. Multi-currency is built in from day one. And it’s a real iPhone app — fast to open, and keeps working when you lose signal. If you’ve ever tapped an expense and watched it spin, you’ll feel the difference.
Is Android coming?
Yes — active Android development is underway. It won’t launch alongside iOS, but it’s not far behind either.
What happens to my data if I stop using the app?
Your groups stay visible to everyone else you shared them with. To delete your account and personal data entirely, email support@hellotab.app — we’ll process the request within 7 days per GDPR and CCPA.
Is it really free forever?
Yes. Free has no trial expiry. Pro is entirely optional — it exists for people who hit the 5-expense daily cap or just hate seeing ads. No dark patterns, no data sales.
